New five-a-side league hits Harlow and Woodford Green

FIVE-A-SIDE FOOTBALL

SOCCERSIXES, a company specialising in the organisation of small-sided football, are bringing two new five-a-side leagues to Woodford Green and Harlow in September.

The leagues will run every Monday (Harlow) amd Wednesday (Woodford Green) from 7pm-9pm in the sports hall at Passmores School in Harlow and Bancroft’s School in Woodford Green.

There will be 16 teams, eight teams in each division with a promotion and relegation system.

Teams will play an intense 30-minute match each week.

All teams entering will have the chance to win a huge array of awards including trophies or cash for winners and runners-up, player of the season, and a fair play award.

Teams will also have the opportunity of playing against other teams from leagues across England in Soccersixes’ national cup.

All matches are officiated by local qualified referees while sixes staff will attend the league each week to ensure the smooth running of fixtures and to deal with any queries or problems. All equipment will be provided.

Anyone over the age of 15 can enter and you do not need to be an organised or established team, you may simply be a group of friends, work colleagues or mates from the pub. The league will be fully affiliated to the FA.
